Inauguration of the exhibition "The rebellion of the outlaws" in the College of Architects, Quito - Ecuador. * Inauguration of the exhibition "Disasters of wars" in the Museum of the city of Quito - Ecuador. * The Provincial Museum of the Casa del Portal is opened "in the city of Ambato where two large rooms, one for drawing and the other for painting, are donated permanently for which Viteri donates 85 works.

    Inauguration from March 21 to May 20 a large retrospective exhibition at the Cultural Center of the Catholic University with 830 works arranged on 4 floors, called "Viteri, point", which tried to display the work of the artist since childhood up to the present time in the different modalities that he has ventured through his whole life. * Concludes his memoir that will make an important contribution to the personal knowledge of the artist's work. * Publishes a small book "The rebellion of the outlaws" based on the work of this subject. * Exhibits at the Feuerwehrmuseum Gross - St. Florian, Austria. "Homage to Values ​​of the Ecuadorian culture, medal awarded by AFESE, Association of Officials and Employees of the Ecuadorian Foreign Service. * Decoration of the National Order "Al Mérito" in the degree of Commander granted by the Constitutional President of the Republic of Ecuador, DR.
